Kakatiya University, situated in the historical town of Warangal has completed 25 years of its existence. Located in an important town of Telengana region, the University extends its jurisdiction to cover the four economically backward districts of north Telengana region of Andhra Pradesh, namely Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Warangal.

Kakatiya University offers programs at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce and Business Management, Social Sciences, Education, Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
