AIEEE 2011 paper leaked , sold in the open market in Lucknow?

AIEEE 2011 question paper has been leaked following which the exam was delayed by 3 hours on Sunday. AIEEE 2011 exam Paper-1 was scheduled for 9:30am on Sunday will now begin at 12:30 pm. Paper-2 with 1 hour delay start from 4.00 pm. Those taking the test for BArch and BPlan will write Paper 2 from 2 pm to 5 pm. Sources say that the question paper was being sold in the open market in Lucknow.
About 12 lakh students across the India are expected to write the AIEEE exam. First time more then one lakh candidates from 20 cities in India will take the examination in online. The results are expected to be released on or before June 7. AIEEE test will be for approximately 26,816 seats for BE, BTech and 936 seats for BArch, BPlanning in institutions across the country.

Man arrested in Uttarpradesh in AIEEE 2011 Paper leak case

The examination which was scheduled for 9:30 am on Sunday will now begin at 12:30 pm. Sources say that the question paper was being sold in the open market in Lucknow.

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has arrested one person in connection with the paper leak and are looking for further leads in the case.

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2011, which was scheduled to commence at 9:30 am on Sunday, has been delayed by two-and-a-half hours and is now expected to start at 12:00 noon. The second paper, which was scheduled for the noon session from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm, will now be held from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

AIEEE 2011 exam was postponed for another 3 hours due to possibility of PaperLeak. It is said that test paper of AIEEE 2011 was leaked at 6 ‘ o clock in the morning of 01st of may 2011.

Initially exam is postponed for 3 Hours from it’s regular timing of 9:30 am to 12 Noon. Evening paper was also scheduled at 4′o clock.

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) paper couldn’t start at scheduled 9.30 am time today morning in Ahmedabad and all other places across the country covering over 1600 centres. Several school centres in Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat witnessed protests of students and parents at around 9.30 when exam was to begin as per the schedule.
It was told to students who had reached examination centers that paper was leaked and therefore the exam is rescheduled and it will be held on 12.30. About 12 lakh students across the country are expected to appear in this exam. Of them one lakh will appear for exam online in 20 cities. The exam is being conducted by CBSE, the nodel agency for AIEEE. Scheduled time of exam was from 9.30 to 12.30 pm.
While Paper covers 1 BE, BTech aspirants with objective-type questions in physics, chemistry and mathematics, Paper 2 contains questions in mathematics, aptitude and drawing to ascertain skill in illustration. The result is expected by the end of first week of June.

Counseling Procedure

The eligible candidates, chosen on the basis of rank, would be called for counseling for final admission. The physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is mandatory.

Counseling Procedure for Allocation of Seats/Branch

• The date/time for counseling will be intimated to the candidates by post, through SMS and will also be published in our university website: www.srmuniv.ac.in
• Change of date/time of counseling is generally not permissible. If a candidate does not personally appear before the Admission Committee for counseling/Interview on the date and time specified, his/her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
• The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "SRMIST", payable at Chennai, on confirmation of the seat, and acceptance of the branch allotted.
• The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counseling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process without these documents.

Failure to pay the prescribed fees before the stipulated date and produce the original documents before the deadline will result in cancellation of the seat allotted

For B.Des. Program

• Admission to B.Des. program will be purely on the basis of performance in the Higher Secondary examination. Candidates short listed based on their Higher Secondary marks will be offered admission directly.
