ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: A bachelor's degree of 10+2+3 pattern with 50% marks in aggregate or in Honours/Major subject (if any) from the Gauhati University or any other recognised University (not through Distance mode). BITSAT 2011 Form
Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2011 by applying in the prescribed application form online. Complete the application form Online at http://www.bitsadmission.com and take the print out of the filled form. The completed application form alongwith the prescribed fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for female candidates) should be sent to Admissions Officer, BITS, Pilani – 333 031.Special provision for Female candidates: The BITSAT application fee for female candidates is Rs. 500/- only instead of Rs. 1000/-. Further, the Institute will try its best to accommodate all female candidates at their first preference of test centers.

Deadline to apply for BITSAT-2011 by submitting the completed form to the Admissions Office, BITS Pilani is 5.00 PM on 30th January 2011.
Those who register for the test and reserve test dates have to download the ‘Hall ticket’, alongwith instructions, from BITS website as per the schedule given earlier. The tests will be conducted during 10th May – 10th June 2011.
Procedure:
In addition to applying for and appearing in BITSAT-2011, candidates have to also apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered. The prescribed application form for admission, the detailed application procedure and the final list of Degree programmes offered will be available at the BITS website, by 20th May 2011. The completed form with the required application fee has to be submitted so as to reach the under-mentioned on or before 5.00 PM on 30th June 2011.Completed application forms for BITSAT-2011 and for admission are to be sent by registered post/speedpost or personally submitted to the under-mentioned so as to reach him before the announced deadlines:

- Admission to MBA and PGPM programs will be on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by SRM University. Candidates with a valid score in CAT/ MAT can also apply for admission.
- Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for group discussion and a personal interview at SRM University for final Admission.
For PGPRM Program

For B.Tech. Program
- Admission to the B.Tech program will be purely on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination of SRM University (SRMEEE) subject to minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.
For B.Arch. Program
- Admission to B.Arch. program will be based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination and in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
- Admission would be offered purely on the basis of the merit list by giving equal weightage to aggregate of marks secured in qualifying examination and to NATA score.
For B.Des. Program
- Admission to B.Des. program will be purely on the basis of performance in the Higher Secondary examination. Candidates short listed based on their Higher Secondary marks will be offered admission directly.
For M.Tech. Program
- Admission to M.Tech program will be on the basis of performance in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination of SRM University (SRMEEE). Candidates with valid GATE score can also apply for admission.
- Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.
For M.Arch Program
- Admission to M. Arch program will be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, professional experience and performance in the interview.
- Candidates, on the basis of the merit list, will be called for counseling at SRM University for final Admission.
For M.S. (TQM)
- Admission to M.S (TQM) program will be on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, professional experience and performance in the interview.
