The Indian Navy Invites Unmarried Men to Join the Indian Navy as Short Service Commissioned Officers in Executive Branch (General Service/ Hydro Cadre) Jan 2011 Course
Eligibility Conditions
Age. 19 ½ to 25 years, born between 02 Jan 1986 and 01 Jul 1991; both dates inclusive.

Educational Qualifications. Any of the following:-
(a) A Science graduate with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University.
(b) BE/B Tech with minimum 65% marks in aggregate in any discipline from a institution recognized by AICTE.
(c) Science graduates (Physics & Mathematics) from a recognized University holding NCC Naval Wing, Senior Division ‘C’ certificate.
(d) Graduate/Post Graduate in Operations Analysis and Operational Research/Quantitative methods with minimum 75% marks from recognised university.
(e) Graduate/Post Graduate in Mathematics, with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks from a recognised university.
Pay Scales& Promotions. The promotion from Sub Lieutenant to Commander is on time scale basis and thereafter on selection basis subject to fulfilment of requisite service condition. The Pay Scale and promotion criteria is as follows:-
