UGC NET 2010 Entrance Examination Notifications 2010

The University Grants Commission (UGC) announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 27th June, 2010 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges

Age Limit:- 
Not more than 28 Year as on 01.06.2010
5 Year Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH

Examination Fees:-
Rs.450/- for General Candidates
Rs.225/- for Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) ,
Rs.110/- for SC/ST/PH/VH candidates

You Can Submit the fee by Bank challan at all SBI (State Bank of India) Branches,

How to apply Online:-
(i) Scanned your Passport (PP) size Photo in JPEG format,
(ii) Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt).

Important Dates:-
Last date for online apply                                                 :   26.04.2010
Last date for Receipt print out of online application form,
print out send directly to UGC office                                :   30.04.2010 Date of Exam                                                                  :   27.06.2010

Date of UGC NET examination: 27.06.2010

Date of UGC NET Notification : 28th March 2010

i) Last date for Applying On-Line 26-4-2010
ii) Last date for receiving the print out of online Application Form (2 copies) , Attendance Slip and Admission Card at the respective test centres (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) ). Print out of online application form sent directly to the UGC office will not be entertained. 30.04.2010
